We Want to Make a Difference

Uniserve for Cancer is a non-profit organization committed to providing charitable support for cancer patients and their families.

We offer financial assistance to individuals struggling on their cancer journey.

"I would like to express my gratitude to Uniserve for Cancer, a charity organisation that provides assistance for patients with cancer and their families navigating complex financial challenges associated with their diagnosis and treatment.

As an early phase trials medical oncologist based in Darlinghurst, Sydney, a high proportion of my patients are from regional/rural/disadvantaged backgrounds with limited financial means to access treatment where it is not PBS reimbursed, and timely access to suitable clinical trial or speedy molecular testing when their cancer is rapidly progressing is difficult.

Uniserve for Cancer has assisted many of these patients to provide bridging therapy for
rare/refractory cancers for patients who could not wait for a treatment slot on a clinical trial, despite our best efforts, or to provide timely molecular testing to inform best trial for enrolment in situations where standard testing through the MOST/Omico platform was not possible.

I hope Uniserve for Cancer can continue its activities in supporting cancer patients in financial distress, and raise awareness of the financial burden experienced by patients and families with cancer."
